Notably, he was part of President Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign team and also worked on former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton’s 2016 presidential bid.
In another significant move in the realm of public policy communications, John Rizzo has taken up the mantle as the head of public policy communications at Nvidia. Rizzo’s career trajectory includes a recent position as a senior vice president at CLYDE. His rich background is marked by key roles such as a senior spokesperson at the Treasury Department, director of communications for Senator Bob Casey (D-Pa.), and deputy communications director to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).
The Rare Disease Company Coalition has also seen a notable appointment with Graham Owens stepping in as the executive director. Owens brings to the table his recent experience as the regulatory and oversight counsel for the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee. His career also includes a tenure as president of Delta Agriculture and a role as director of regulatory, tax, and domestic economic policy for the National Association of Manufacturers, highlighting his diverse expertise in various sectors.
